PCRM is looking for Volunteers for VegFest Los Angeles

Join the Physicians Committee at VegFest Los Angeles on May 1!

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help promote our work. VegFest Los Angeles will be held at Woodley Park in Lake Balboa from 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 1.

Volunteers are needed to distribute materials in shifts throughout the day between the hours of 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Shifts are flexible—let us know your availability. Volunteers will receive a Physicians Committee T-shirt to wear during their shift. Be sure to come early or stay after your shift to check out all the great VegFest vendors and activities!

Intro!

Well hello!

This is my first ever blog post (whoo!) to document the fact that I’ve just signed up to the 21 Day Vegan Kickstart! I think there's a psychological barrier in starting new things on New Year's Day which is when the kick start officially begins, so I'm starting on the 6th of January instead - that means I have 16 days to get my head (and fridge!) sorted before I begin!

You’ll have to forgive that amidst my recipes, meal plans and accounts of my quest to make the perfect vegan brownies there will probably be some ranting, but please attribute it to chronic milk chocolate deficiency!
