Alright, I’m clearly completely misunderstanding the nature of this relationship, and rereading doesn't help. Hopefully we get more moirail interactions soon, and we can straighten this all out.

And yet others will seem to have been hatched for each other.

Well, speak of the devil!

It looks like CC does, in fact, wear a tiara. She’s at the very top of the blood hierarchy, and she’s not shy about advertising it. Her gills are proof that sea dwellers are biologically distinct from land trolls, in ways that go beyond mere blood color. 

CA’s also got drip, and I suspect fashion is more common underwater than it is on land. To be honest, the guy looks pretty miserable - maybe he’s still pissed off about Vriska ignoring him, and Kanaya refusing to auspisticize.

And with that, we’ve seen default sprites for every troll!

Oh, I can do you one better. 

Over the weekend, I was working on an ask which asked me to form a relationship web for all the trolls - and it looks like it’s time to complete it.

This isn’t my personal shipping chart - it’s a chart describing what types of attraction I believe each troll is canonically feeling for the others. Most of them are self-explanatory, but a there are a few points of note:

Terezi and Karkat seem to have an of awkward concupiscent crush on each other, but I can’t tell if either of them are pitch or flushed. I think Karkat is more likely to be flushed, and Terezi is more likely to be pitch, but it’s too early to say. 

Vriska and Terezi were allies, became enemies, and now they’re back to being allies again. There’s a lot of resentment there, but also a clear mutual respect. I think that the groundwork is being set for an extremely intense pitch romance arc between the two. 

CA wants Kanaya to auspisticize for him and Vriska, but Kanaya doesn’t seem to reciprocate. Maybe she did, at one point, but he’s been taking her services for granted, and now it’s completely one-sided. 

While I’m here, I don’t know if Vriska reciprocates CA’s feelings, either. She’s only mentioned him in the context of the doomsday device she’s building him, so she doesn’t seem to think about him much - nor does she seem invested in antagonizing him the way she does Tavros. 

Who the fuck knows.
