I’ve discovered a form of crochet I’ve never done before; interlocking crochet. Yesterday I found a CAL, called ‘25 years and counting’ by Barbara Mann, which uses this style. So I’ve been giving it a go. This is Square One. What I love is that the back looks just as good as the front. My understanding of interlocking crochet is that it’s two meshes, woven around each other, but at no point stitched together. It’s simpler than it seems anyway, once I’d got my head round it.
