arriving at the daintree forest we've found an amazingly beautiful beach and created some awesome sandcastles/-animals. also we've found some coconuts and cracked them open like cavemen would. (just with what we've found on the beach.) after all this effort i pulled myself together and tried some... and it tasted well!!! 🙉 what are the guys making coconut flavour thinking a coconut tastes like. it's amazingly different from what the real thing tastes. i never thought the day to come but i do like coconut now. australia's changing you man. 🙈
this day started off with a beautiful sunrise over our crocodile river. it was cloudy but the resulting red/orange rays on the sea's surface looked absolutely corny. while heading further north to the daintree national park we also watched some hang-gliders starting at a cliff by jumping over the edge. quite spectacular.

Dear Pittsburgh: Please Make September 21, 2016 a Day of Peace
As young people from Pittsburgh, we care about the future of this city. We are proud of its history and are invested in its potential to be a beacon of peace and prosperity. Hearing about the increase in violence in our communities has become a daily reality; therefore, we believe there is not a better time for peace than now.
Will you join us to make peace a reality for International Day of Peace on September 21?
Through my non-profit, Seeds of Hope, I, Alexis, work to help veterans as they return home while also ensuring that others facing similar challenges have the opportunity to succeed. I believe there is no better time than now to create peace in our community. It takes me, you, all of us!
I, Chloe, am a young digital influencer and care deeply about creating a community of peace in my hometown of Pittsburgh. I’m sad to see that violence exists here. It happens every day. As young people, we have the voices and power to switch this hate into love, and violence into hate. Let’s be the change… starting on September 21st, the UN International Day of Peace, we must come together as a city, a nation, and a global community in the fight to end violence – starting with 24 hours of peace.
As we look to create peaceful solutions to violence on September 21st and beyond, we need your support to show the world that peace in Pittsburgh is possible. As we observe the International Day of Peace on September 21st, we must come together as a city, a nation, and a global community in the fight to end violence – starting with 24 hours of peace.
It starts with you, me, us… each one of us has a role to play for at least one day, Peace Day. When faced with opposition, turn the other cheek. When angered, outraged, or wronged, take the higher road. Support people doing right, and challenge those doing wrong. Today, choose peace.
Then do it again. If you choose to go beyond, you will be contributing to a new era of peace in our city, and in the world.
We ask that, in honor of International Day of Peace on September 21, you pledge to observe 24 hours of non-violence. Will you join us by signing our peace petition?
To the People of Pittsburgh: Can we all agree to peace on September 21st?
It’s time to #wagepeace.
