A process that I promised to show @2bee-desu ;3; From these posts: X | X

So... I definitely have irregular coloring-style, but nevertheless, onward!!

I start with drafting, sometimes I go straight for the lines, sometimes I start with messy then attempt cleaning it:

I then make a layer for just the characters to separate from the background and protect that layer. Then I color in that protected part. For these, since I was lazy, I borrowed colors from random photos within the palette range I was aiming for. Then I air-sprayed the colors for a rough coloring/shading like so:

(^ With this one, it’s already easy because the scene already had its own colors in that trailer x’D)

At the same time, I improvise what the background be too because that’s always a mystery. Anyway... in that one layer full of rough colors, I try to shade everything too so I don’t have to fix a lot later. I abuse the blue color so much for shading since using black all the time isn’t really good, I guess. T^T

With a whole new layer on both, I start coloring with pencil and watercolor brushes over everything while fixing, detailing, and defining colors and shading. For me... this is one crazy mess. ;;

Now it’s filter time~

I used the bucket tool and dumped dark blue onto this layer on overlay. It was a color similar to this: 

Then I used color dodge in red color to lighten the face, and then more overlay tool airbrushing using dark blue for more contrast in darker parts.

For the Dawn, I used bucket for color dodge on light blue here at this point for making the colors look okay together:

Then gradient overlay some more colors like orange and blue...

Now the last part is the light~ Using a mix of add and/or color dodge tool with airbrush where the light source is... which is full of guessing on my part. :x

I think that’s about it... I feel like I’m missing something... o_o;

YES!!! Naru would totally be Tsumugi’s “senpai in life” (I can totally imagine Naru saying that XD) And Kouhei will be that fun dad whom all the kids like. And maybe when that happens Miwa will tease Handa and tells him that he’s no longer the most popular guy among the kids, and that of course will lead to him sulking and asking if Naru and Hina still love him XD

omg handa’s face hearing the news! he would be devastated, poor sensei lol but yeah i can see naru saying she’s tsumugi’s senpai haha so cute... hiroshi wouldn’t miss the opportunity to tease handa as well, his cheeks would be so puffy because he doesn’t want to admit he’s jealous he’s not the center of attention anymore :D

Shirakawa causes damage wherever he is XD But I want to see Chris acting like a good daddy and keeping Shirakawa and Eijun away from each other throats. While looking over his shoulder to make sure that Furuyan isn’t sleep walking, and Mochi isn’t playing too much video games XD

suck to be chris-senpai... those kids are hopeless but i’m sure he has plans so things will be fine... at least that’s what i like to think haha

I think so too, since they were teammates before, that’s the only explanation I could find.
