Happy New Year, friends!! Hope everyone had a safe and fun night, and I hope everyone has an amazing 2019. Every year has its ups and downs, but my wish for everyone is to make the most of it, and enjoy the little moments as best they can, as well as the big ones. 

My 2018 ended very well, finishing the rough draft of a story that has been in my head for years, and all it took was actually forcing myself to sit down and write whenever I got the chance. I wrote at work, I wrote on my breaks, I wrote in my downtime and I pulled it off and it’s such an amazing feeling. I can’t wait to type it up on my computer and edit it after I take a little break from it. (Though, tbh, I might not take that long of a break because I miss it already.) 

My hope for 2019 is to to obviously finish Above Water completely, as well as begin the rough draft for another story that I’ve had in my head for years. I actually feel like I might be able to make something of it now that I’ve completed Above Water, a feat I thought I would never accomplish. 

I have more confidence than ever in my ability to just sit down and write. I forced myself not to think too much about the quality of it, but just getting it down on paper and bringing it to life, and then letting future me worry about fixing it.

Anyways, I hope everyone has an amazing and prosperous 2019. I hope shit starts to change for the better, and I hope everyone finds a little bit of inner peace within themselves. Baby steps are still steps after all.
