Day 24/30

Question: What is your favourite song? 

Answer: I have no idea what this song is called, but Maitii and Shii-chan’s rendition of it is just stunning! 2018 is my favourite version of Exciter!! and so I couldn’t resist making it my favourite song.

Day 23/30

Question: what show would you like to see remade?

Answer: although it’s a bit of a dream, I would love to see a grand theatre remake of Nijinsky! All of the ballet scenes would be so beautiful on the grand theatre stage, and it would sound amazing with a live orchestra. The plot is filled with so much melodrama and I feel like only the grand theatre could give it the treatment it deserves.

Day 22/30

Question: What is a show you wish would get made?

Answer: I would love for Takarazuka to adapt a Psycho Pass stage play with Makaze Suzuho as Kogami! She would be absolutely perfect in the role (I mean, just look at how great she looks in a suit and tie)! Either that, or I would love Makaze Suzuho to star in an adaptation of the Picture of Dorian Gray.

Day 21/30

Question: What is your favourite small theatre show?

Answer: Love Blooms Out on the Murasakino (Flower, 2018), cast B. This show is incredibly melodramatic, sometimes even to the point of being stupid. But once you get over that, this show is a total roller coaster of emotions, and you will laugh, cry, scream and you will be left stunned. Personally I prefer cast B over cast A, as I feel cast B suits their roles better. I really wish that Senna Ayase and Yuzuka Rei got to work together more, because they have wonderful chemistry. Also, Senna Ayase absolutely kills it in this show; she has a huge acting and singing range which I wish she got to show off more.

Question: What is your favourite foreign adaptation?

Answer: Don Juan (Snow, 2016). Thank you to @coeuraubonheur for showing me this! I seriously cannot get enough of this soundtrack, and the show is gorgeously staged. I don’t even know how many times I’ve rewatched this show!

Question: what is your favourite revue?

Answer: Baddy (2018)! Baddy is honestly one of the craziest revues I’ve ever seen, and I loved every single moment of it. Every single song is worth listening to, and I sincerely hope that Ueda Kumiko gets to make more revues in the future.

Question: What is your favourite chirashi?

Answer: Although I haven’t seen the show yet, the Tonight, at the Romance Theatre chirashi is my favourite. It’s just so beautiful 😍 I can’t wait to see the show 💖

Question: what was the most recent show that you watched?

Answer: Starlight Fantasy (Moon, 1988) Suzukaze Mayo’s dinner show! I seriously can’t get enough of her beautiful singing voice.
