Well, 24 hours into my no-sleep, 30 odd hours, self-challenge to reset my body clock.
I'm intrigued to note that until at least 20 hours awake I didn't feel any drowsy symptoms. Mostly any desire to curl up and sleep was for comfort or boredom reasons! I've had a reasonably productive day actually, although I haven't gotten much done of what I wanted to do, I have however finished what I needed to do today. Namely send and reply to emails regarding course selections for uni and obtaining some paying computer work.
I am a little slower than I was this morning, which is no surprise, but a quick walk in the house seems to do wonders for this, it also seems playing Anno 2070 while trying not to nap is... not entirely a good idea. I love the game, it just has a very relaxed pace and soundtrack.
The near-liter of iced coffe I made (not to mention very weak iced coffee, I drink it for the flavor) also seems to have a sedating effect, but can be overcome.
Strange side effect: My neck has gotten a "little" rock-hard. No fear of vampires for me. I'll be alerted to the feeding attempt by the sounds of shattering teeth. At least my back has stopped aching.
Oddly enough, I am actually having an easier time (read: "less horrific time") spelling. I assume that I'm using smaller words, not to mention having to think longer before I can proverbially pen them.
Well, all seems to be going well. I might have a quick stretch. Party on Tumblrs.
