Welcome to the Thirty-One Days of Lovemas! 

What is Lovemas? A celebration of love! love yourself, love your friends, love writers, love writing, love the rpc, love your fandom(s), and just generally spread the love each day of the month of December! So here’s how it works:

Each day, I’ll post a prompt, a question, or something to reflect on. You can reblog that post with your answer, or comment on the post with your answer, or make your own post with your answer (and tag me or #31daysoflovemas so I can see your lovely answers!) or just generally do whatever you want with it! You can answer as many of as few as you want, just have fun with it, and love yourself!

what’s something that you love about the way you’ve developed your character (or characters) since you started writing them? canon or oc, you’ve made them uniquely you with your development, dedication, and hard work, think about something you’ve done with them that you love, and give yourself a hug for it!

as we get ready for a new year, what’s something that you love about yourself and your writing that you’re proud of for yourself for doing this year? and what’s something that you want to work on for next year?

if your character (or characters) could speak to you, what’s one thing that they would love about you? we spend so much time loving them; flip the script and let them love you!

what makes you happy when you’re writing? it can be anything; writing partners, characters, scenarios, plot points, tropes, alternate universes, etc, anything! we all love being happy, so what makes you happy when you’re writing it? being happy is always important!

who inspires you to write? who inspires you when you’re writing? what do you love about them? if it’s someone you know personally, tell them. if it’s someone you don’t know personally, tell them if you want to, or tell us.

here’s a prompt that isn’t a question: give yourself some love, and tell yourself that you’re proud of your writing. that’s it, that’s the prompt! look at yourself in the mirror if you want to, or just sit in front of your computer, but tell yourself that you’re proud of your writing! Say it out loud, right now: “I am proud of myself for my writing.”

here’s a prompt that isn’t a question: go tell at least one person something you love about them, about their writing, or about their muse! if you’re feeling brave, go tell someone who you don’t talk to much, or maybe someone you admire from afar, or who you see on your dash but have never spoken to. if you’re feeling extra brave, tell them off anon!
