Day 12 of Character Development

How is your character with technology? Super savvy, or way behind the times? Letters or email? 

Douglas is definitely super savvy. Being a hyper-linguist, he picked up programming algorithms quite quickly. With technology being as crude as it was in the 70s, resources are limited. Even then, Douglas is very good at working with the cards he’s been dealt with. He prefers writing letters above all else since he’s better at writing out a conversation than actually talking.

Who does your character trust?

He trusts his mother above anyone else. At the institute, he'd rather not share his problems and insecurities with just anyone. He's sure the Professor is aware of most of them, but he's not very good with opening up to people in general.

Hello, Gemma.

You've made it so far with everything, and I really do hope you make more progress. I'm glad you now understand that hiding and avoiding socialization isn't helping you any. Healthy skepticism is good and all, but you've managed to turn into full-blown paranoia. I know you can't help it, and I understand. I hope you know that'll I'll be here for you whenever. Day 29 of Daily Character Development

How does your character smell? Do they wear perfume or cologne? 

She smells like the ocean with all the salt and spices she sprinkles on herself. If not, then she smells like paint and wood. Her breath smells like coffee most of the time since she has a slight addiction for it.
