Don't fear the Reaper...
fear the Reapettes.
So after FINALLY reaching the first checkpoint on 3DClassics I have decided that i despise Reapettes.
Now onto my review.
Kid Icarus 3DClassics
I never played the original (I'm slightly to young) so thiis is all new to me.
First off I had some difficulty with the default control scheme, I wanted A and B to be reversed for some reason. After a bit of practice got used to it. I found this game to be difficult, but in my opinion still fun. The most trouble have had so far is with the Reapers calling the Reapettes. They will keep following you until you change rooms.
In my opinion the 3D is nice, but doesn't really add much. To help stop ghosting Nintendo replaced the black with actual backgrounds, from what I can tell each level has different background to fit its theme. The lowest level of the underworld is fire themed for example.
All in all for a game made in the 80s it seems to have held up pretty well. My opinion of course.
