Mech WIP: Hand
The video above is a turnaround of the hand I made for the mech. Once again I am using the powered up shading. It still needs a bit of work but I am relatively happy with it. For those interested here is a slideshow of the creation process.
You may have noticed the jankey topology where I added the diamonds to reduce verts going to the wrist. Normally I would do more work on the topology and edgeflow however, this is a rigid model that wont be unwrapped. Working quickly and keeping it low poly are more important for this model. I think the palm is too thick and I am not sure about the shading. Also I feel making the fingers attach in the opposite way may have made more since here. Made by me in blender+freestyle.
