Chapter Nine: The Spring Competition

An early update because I will be working all weekend!

Latte and Melody finally have a chance to show off what they've been working on! Four months of growing and training are about to be judged by experts in the field, and Melody is nervous about how her family will react. Wayne's standing by in case she needs him, but he's also apprehensive about something Frank said, and considers the older farmer might not see Melody in the same light that he does.

There is no way on earth Fennel could have been persuaded to wear that dress. He would have cut it to shreds and turned it into something he could actually stand wearing or gone the way of this comic.
