40 weeks, 4 days today. Last night I passed my mucus plug (gross, right?) and started having contractions every 8-10 minutes at about midnight. Decided to try to get some sleep through it. Contractions lasted until about 7:30 this morning when Lily came to me saying she was still sick and started throwing up. My contractions stopped coming as regularly as my mind shifted focus onto her. My doctor found that I am 1 centimeter dilated however still pretty firm and baby is still at -3 so he decided to perform a membrane sweep in the hopes to speed things along. I do hope that it does because the last two nights have wiped me out for energy. I am exhausted right now but trying to keep moving to make sure I dilate. Also beginning to feel nauseous. Fingers crossed!! #positivity #40weeks4days #iwantmybaby

walked a mile at Pinkerton Park today. might not seem like a lot but it took forever and now I feel dead lol. what a beautiful day though! the little one, however, is not budging :( #40weeks4days
