Just saw Jacksepticeye’s video on “A Normal Lost Phone” and I’m so happy
The game touches up in a lot pretty serious topics, and the issue with Sebastian and Helen in specific is sadly something very common to our society. Women being forced in sexual situations they are not comfortable with and then being blamed/feeling guilty of it, as if they owe men sex, as if men are entitled to it, that shit is fucking normal and change in that aspect is slow.
And what Jack said about it, I was just so happy to see it! I mean, sure, it’s not like he’s saying anything new, and honestly this is just being a decent human being, but it’s way too often that I find myself seeing creators I admire saying or suppoting bullshit like that and having my heart broken. It made me really happy to see that Jack really actually believes in that, it just cements how much of a good person he is. Every day I’m happier that I discovered him and subscribed to him, and when I see him do shit like this, defend things I consider my core beliefs like that, it just makes me go “yes this is indeed a good bean, I chose a good one to watch.”
