#5224 Fairweather Melange (Canada) I scooped this bad boy from the brewery a few weeks back, and tbh at 9%, it wasn’t super appealing to me. I’m really not into IIPAs over 8% but it’s Fairweather so I figured it’d be fire. I wasn’t wrong. This bad boy pours hazy with a fluffy head and a dank nose, the body is creamy af, it’s slightly bitter and piney yet tropical and fruity, super balanced, notes of apricot and melon, I can barely detect much booze (which I appreciate), it’s clean and smooth with a silky, citrusy finish. #5224 Zero Gravity Bing Bing (USA) My favourite new hop hands down is Sabro, so I was stoked to get this 6.8% single hop IPA in my hands. It pours opaque with a foamy head and subtle nose, the body is creamy, sweet and slightly bitter, the coconut vibes are present but not over the top, it’s malty and crushable, a little too sweet for my tastes, with a dusty finish.
