Do I become something other than a human when I'm denied such basic human needs? I can function well as part of this society, my farse is a successful one but I don't remember what it is to be touched lovingly I once read that the point of living life is to live it And my existence doesn't fit that definition. I would very much like to feel human again and not just act like one.

Ode to You

I don't know anything anymore. There's so many feelings trapped inside. So much anguish with no place to go. One day I'll get over it. I'll stop regretting every word of that conversation. Eventually I'll be fine. The despair will subside and my life will go back to how it was before. I'll forget the harsh words and sad eyes. Thanks for the memories- they'll never leave. Maybe one day we can be together. Maybe one day you can forgive me. Maybe one day I'll get over you. But I don't know anything anymore.

I want someone to hold,

Someone to care.

Someone who's tall,

Someone to stare.

I want someone to tell

Someone to smell,

Someone who'd care,

Someone who'd dare.

Just someone to sing along with,

Someone to dance beside with.

Someone I can snuggle with,

and someone I can smile with. 

But from all of the above,

I just want someone to love.
