AU August Masterlist 2021
AU August is an event that happens every year that I somehow manage to miss consistently despite my best attempts. So this year! I’m starting late and using my own custom list as incentive.

Jesse tried not to flinch at his words. The Prince of Hell was watching him, still in that irritatingly familiar shape- his face was so like Lucie’s, yet it was impossible to believe she shared a drop of blood with this monster. His mind flashed back to the conversation they’d had just that night, when she had returned from her training, and began running a brush through her hair.
“Jesse,” she’d asked him, setting down the brush and turning to face him- her eyes were that same startling blue that had caught his interest when they’d first met in that forest, “where do you go, when the sun comes up? What happens to you?”
“I don’t know,” he’d lied, and she had nodded, trusting him fully.
“Apologies. I was delayed.” he said to the demon now. The Prince of hell only nodded, and gestured for Jesse to return to his work.
