I feel that Augmented Reality is the main technology to be focused on, out of these two. Augmented reality offers a lot more benefits that Virtual Reality, such as altering the user's vision of the real world, by adding overlays for their eyes to see. Augmented reality can also be used as virtual reality.
An advantage of augmented reality is that you can see your surroundings unlike virtual reality.
Virtual reality has been growing, since Google released Google Cardboard, this is a low-cost product that converts the smartphone screen into a virtual reality device. the fact that it is really cheap and you can use it with smartphones, means this product is available for everyone.

They have used two superstars entrances so far, which include: the iconic Undertakers and the fresh meat at WWE, AJ Styles. Recently WWE acquired AJ Styles for a $500,000 figure contract, according to Forbes(2016).

I predict that WWE is slowly wheeling in 360 videos to the fans, through the Social Media. However, in recent research, I found out that consumers of the Samsung Gear are able to view last years Summerslam in full 360degree video, using the Samsung gears store.
There has been no further news on WWE’s plans with virtual reality. Hopefully, they will look into using it at Wrestlemania, WWE’s grandest stage.

One of the latest gadgets in today's society is 3D printing, which allows anyone with Third Dimensional Printer to print from home. The device needs a 3d Modelling Software, to be able o print.
The device can be used to print just about any object.
Advantages:
Some printers can be cheap.
Specific prints can be used to save lives. (here is a recent article proving this, click here.)
Prints may allow artists to develop new pieces of work.
A recent article by CNN:
To save money, this college student 3D-printed his own braces — and they actually worked: http://cnnmon.ie/1PcI2QC
Disadvantages:
The bigger and more complex the 3D model, the slower it will be to complete printing.
Individuals may print harmful weapons such as guns (e.g. This article here, is an example of a misused 3D printer.)

Virtual Reality has a lot of strengths, as the device is able to offer many improvements to our entertainment platforms such as film and gaming. It does this by allowing the users/audience to be more immersive into the story of the film or game. The device obtains two separate screens for both eyes, that allow the users to navigate using their heads through a full 360 experience. The sound experience is also crucial towards giving the full experience of VR....
VR puts the users in an artificial world, taking their minds into a different state of mind. However, this may make the users isolated from society.
Weaknesses
A number of disadvantages I see Virtual Reality having are health issues, this includes users becoming dizzy or sick from using these devices, the health and safety warnings published by Oculus for the Samsung Gear, another Virtual Reality device. Some users
Improvements
Most of VR devices such as the popular Oculus Rift and HTC Vive lack being wireless.
VR should also take advantage of voice operational software, that will be controlled by the users speech, in any language. The software should run similar to Google’s speech regeneration software built in into the smartphone search and Google Glass. This would require the user to state a phrase such as ‘Ok, Google!’ to allow the device to begin listening, Playstation has also included these sort of functionalities to their consoles. The users with a microphone or camera for their console just need to say ‘PlayStation’ to activate the listening function to control the console.
My opinion
I enjoy both virtual reality and augmented reality, as they will help build new types of entertainment purposes. Especially with the technology offering so many advantages for a much more immersive experience, instead of an HD rectangular box.
