Place de la République…. by Virginia where I, and I suspect many of my readers, wish we could be right now. Link: http://paristhroughmylens.blogspot.com/2015/01/place-de-la-republique.html
Number 33: French Postcard by Tongue In Cheek Corey Amaro’s Collection. For years I have been collecting without realizing that I was collecting French ephemera. I will be adding one French old postcard or piece of French ephemera a day on my blog until I run out. Link: http://willows95988.typepad.com/tongue_cheek/2015/01/french-postcard-by-corey-amato.html
The Paris Food Truck Craze by Doni Belau Starting just a few years ago, Paris quietly stepped into the food truck revolution. Camion qui Fume (the smoking truck) serving California style hamburgers was the camion that started it all. People began queuing for hours for the chance at having a bite of a juicy “American” style burger. Link: http://girlsguidetoparis.com/paris-food-truck-craze/
Paris Through My Lens by Virginia Paris…. during more carefree days, just over a month ago. Praying things will return to normal soon for the people of Paris. Link: http://paristhroughmylens.blogspot.com/2015/01/paris.html
Number 34: French Postcard by Tongue In Cheek For years I have been collecting without realizing that I was collecting French ephemera. Starting last month, until I run out I will put one old French postcard on my blog along with my regular post. Blog Archive Get Illuminated - by Eye Prefer Paris Hordes turned out for the annual Festival of Light in Paris. Take a photographic tour here without getting bumped by hot wine-addled spectators. Link: http://www.theparisblog.com/get-illuminated/
Christmas Markets in Paris by David Dadoun Nothing exudes the spirit and festiveness of Christmas more than the traditional Christmas markets in Paris. Sip hot spiced wine while shopping for artisan cheeses, giant-sized ginger bread cookies, sausages, wines and other winter season specialties. Link: http://www.lebestofparis.com/for-kids/christmas-markets-in-paris
Christmas In Paris by David Dadoun The City of Lights literally sparkles at night during the festive winter season, as the Eiffel Tower, the Champs-Elysees and narrow streets of Paris glow with twinkling lights, Christmas ornaments and decorations through the New Year. De quelle planète es-tu? Being home for the holidays makes my heart all warm inside. Rediscovering little traditions and the little things that make Christmas just perfect and full of love. Every year my mom gets us each a glass ornament, and it’s always spot on. Link: http://www.dequelleplaneteestu.com/2014/12/25/glimpse-christmas/
Montmartre by Virginia I return each and every trip to Paris. Montmartre never disappoints this photographer. Link: http://paristhroughmylens.blogspot.com/2014/12/montmartre.html
French women don’t get their nails done by Diane French women don’t get their nails done. OK, that’s not entirely true. Nail salons exist but nowhere near the number of salons you’d find in a comparable US suburb. In my town, there are only 7 nail salons — most are small, expensive and very basic in their service offerings. Link: http://ouiinfrance.com/2014/12/26/french-women-dont-get-their-nails-done/

Parisian Favourites Two of the most common questions I get asked are: “How do I dress for my Parisian getaway?” and “What are your favourite places in Paris?”. That’s why I thought killing two birds with one stone with the help of this little post would be a fantastic idea. Link: http://parisinfourmonths.com/2014/12/21/parisian-favourites/
Blog Archive Jim Morrison’s Mysterious Door - The death of Jim Morrison is not the only mystery in the Rue Beautreillis. On this street where the leader of The Doors spent the last few months of his life and where he (probably) died, another door stands curiously alone. Link: http://www.theparisblog.com/jim-morrisons-mysterious-door/
Festooned by Virginia Not all of the decorations are over the top in Paris. I always love the simple but festive decorations as well. Here at the Panthéon, the cluster of trees sparkle with just ribbon bows blowing in the breeze. Link: http://paristhroughmylens.blogspot.com/2014/12/festooned.html
Blog Archive Big Easy Cocktails - With a Parisian Belle Époque meets New Orleans’ Storyville vibe and named for one of NOLA’s notorious madams, Lulu White couldn’t have picked a better location than this neighborhood full of working girl bars and girlie-cum-cocktail bars. Link: http://www.theparisblog.com/big-easy-cocktails/
Ma journée à Paris III- Tuileries by Virginia As I left the sidewalk chalk artist, I took a quick stroll down to the quai for photos, came back, and walked over the bridge to the Louvre and Jardin des Tuileries. This biker seemed too good to pass up as I made my way down to the gardens. I have always loved Tuileries. Link: http://paristhroughmylens.blogspot.com/2014/12/ma-journee-paris-iii-tuileries.html

Christmas in Paris 2014:Printemps Printemps goes British this holiday season with window displays by Burberry. On the Path by Tongue In Cheek In October Chelsea asked me to do a run with her in Paris this coming March. Since running and I are not friends, I voted for the five mile walk that is offered for those who prefer walking. Since October I have been walking three to four miles a day… Link: http://willows95988.typepad.com/tongue_cheek/2014/12/on-the-path.html
