7.16 is one of my favorite episodes for dean studies because dean really tried to explain away his interest in ballet by mentioning black swan and then not even 30 minutes later makes a reference that's not even in black swan. "i watched black swan because i wanted to see women kissing" to avoid explaining his interest and then reveals that he might've legitimately watched swan lake but sam doesn't pick up on it bc he hasn't watched swan lake

He also gleefully makes a joke using the term pas de deaux. As someone who has only ever seen The Nutcracker and certainly never did ballet, I certainly did not know what that was. Dean watches ballet and he wants to be a ballerina. He always thought he could be a good dancer etc etc.
