Linda Perhacs- Parallelograms. In which 70's Topanga Canyon acid-folker Linda Perhacs recites the names of geometric shapes repeatedly and then lapses into some kind of psychedelic trip / bridge thingie in the middle of the song replete with bongos and weird piano wire noises ... Sound like a hippie disaster of a song? Listening to it once, you might say yuck. But then you get drawn into her world, and what an intersting world it is. Although she only sold about 500 records, she was among the best of the early 70's crop of freak-folkers, and the song has magic to burn.
