what would books about furry subculture be classified under?
(o (00) o)
Most subcultures are under 306.1, but books specifically about furries are more likely to be found under 743.6 (how to draw animals) or 746 (textile arts)
History of comic books? More specifically superheroes if that’s an option
741.59 for the history of comics books or 741.509 for the history of cartoons and other comics (including strips)
where would a book about furries reside?
Most books I can find on the subject fall under the "how to draw animals" section in 743.6 or "textile arts" in 746, but the furry community itself may be under "subcultures" in 306.1
Would a book about fictional geography go in the system or would that be in fiction?
Books about drawing maps for RPGs have been filed under 743.87 (how to draw fantasy) and 794.8 (video games). Geography itself is filed under the 910s, with 912.99 and 919.9 dedicated to extraterrestrial worlds, though those sections are more about the Moon and Mars and exoplanets rather then fictional worlds. Some books on fictional geography have been filed under 917 for travel guides or the 800s for literary analysis ("The Complete Guide to Middle-Earth" is under 823.912 for 20th century English lit). It would only go in the fiction section if it were a novel or a story about the fictional place.

Hiya, Bobcat here. Glad you got my letter and liked the drawing! Excited to get my paws on the zine. In the meantime, where would I find books on learning to tie knots, in particular, for things like arts and crafting?
Cheers, 🐾
