after he fights Ichigo, Momo sends Izuru to find him, and Izuru brings him back. Byakuya orders them to put Renji in jail, Gin shows up and fetches Izuru so they can go get the 4th.

I checked and the only version in kanji I can find uses 無欠 unfortunately.

i looked this one up, and  欠 is apparently shorthand form for  缺, which is the original kanji i was talking about!

I'm rereading the 2 ebooks (thank you so much for doing them btw, it rocks not to get a numb bum when reading) and just had to take the time to gush about Kakashi and Naruto's relationship. Your Kakashi makes such an excellent niisan and sure you could put that down to Rin and Minato not being dead in this verse, but still, it's obvious as well that he draws such a lot of... I hesitate to say humanity, except that is pretty much what it is, from his interactions with Naruto. 1/5

They just gel so well, and it's heartbreaking to compare the joyous little bundle of love that is your Naruto to the isolated abused child we see at the beginning of the manga. I will always love this series for showing us that, if nothing else - though of course there's sooo many other things to love too. So yeah, huge amounts of family love, but then that got me to thinking, with Kakashi being so much like Naruto's big brother, it's less likely he'd be chosen as Team 7's jounin sensei 

I'm hoping (and pleading on bended knee) that Sasuke will have plenty of help with his sharingan in this verse, so he won't specifically need Kakashi either, so… I ended up sticking Ryouma in the role. It'd make sense. The guy's a good all rounder, with the kind of ninjutsu smarts that'd challenge an Uchiha and the kind of down the earth hands-on-ness that'd appeal to Naruto 

Not to mention he'll have been protecting Kakashi's back for years by that point and so Minato should trust him with one of his other precious people. Plus, he'd be a brilliant foil to Sakura's fangirlness. If nothing else he could teach her how to flirt properly. And the sheer amount of eye-rolling he'd elicit from his new genin would be mind-bendingly wonderful. 

Eh, sorry to witter on. You folks probably have other ideas, and someone's probably already come up with this before, but I thought I'd just throw that at you for consideration, and take the opportunity to tell you all how much I adore the series. Your writing is something I aspire to, especially the action scenes, and all of it is always an utter joy to read. Thank you. 

You know, I don’t really like to speculate about Ryouma’s future down the road (partly because I like to leave it open for unexpected discoveries, partly because he tends not to believe he’ll really have one) but THIS IDEA IS SO SWEET. I love the idea of Ryouma teaching Sakura to punch and flirt and take an enemy’s head off. If Team Seven were to be assembled the way it was in canon, Ryouma wouldn’t be a bad teacher for it. 

Kakashi would probably do much better as a big brother than a jounin sensei, though he’s taught Naruto well so far. And learned a lot from him, too. I adore writing them together, so I’m really glad you like it too.

There’s no indication it’s the same talking fox, since it’s in Herefordshire rather than London, but it confirms that talking foxes are a Thing.
