- he's really touchstarved... please hold his hand! his hands are rough from factory work and handling machinery. normally, he wouldn't give a damn about his hands being all calloused but once he starts dating you, he starts using his mama's lotion on his hands.

- when you're cold, he wouldn't hesitate to give you his hoodie. he wears a thin t-shirt or a tank top under his jacket but he'd be willing to stay in those in -10° weather for you :,) he just loves you that much

- he'd take you around detroit in his 1976 oldsmobile delta 88. a diner, an arcade or a record shop... he just likes spending time with you so anywhere is honestly fine.

- he has major trust issues after janeane and alex... its not like he doesn't want to trust you... he just has a hard time but he will come to trust you eventually after a couple of months of dating. he'd be a little distant at first, not a lot of kisses and hugs but once he gets comfortable he'll hold you close, whisper sweet things into your ear, says *I love you*. (he'll pound you into your bed♡)

- lily loves you! when jimmy's shifts make him unable to look after his sister, he sometimes asks you to babysit her. (not all the time! he doesn't want to annoy you after all) after his shift he immediately drives to your house to pick lily up. he kisses you all over and thanks you everytime.

- he sometimes comes over to your house at 2 in the morning with a crying lily in his arms, his expression tense eyes slightly wet. he'd ask if he could stay the night, he wouldn't say he fought with his mother, he wouldn't say that she was dead drunk or that she screamed at him while lily cried...

- he'd make sure lily's tucked in before he sleeps. he pretends to be fine but please comfort him, hug him... he melts into your arms, quietly sobbing in the crook of your neck. his heart is tender and soft on the inside and sometimes that tough guy thing is just an act...

- he writes about you, alot. he doesn't rap these lyrics at the shelter or with anyone else. he only raps them infront of you and *only* you.

- he isn't able to spend much time with you because of his factory shifts. his hours are always uncertain and different each time. he also doesn't *just* work at the factory- he works any job that he can, no matter how odd it may be. to make up for that, jimmy takes his time with you very seriously, he always makes sure you feel loved (despite not being able to express it very much!)

- kisses! he loves them! he doesn't like mouth kissing that much. he's insecure about tasting like sweat and copper so he'd probably just kiss your forehead if he didn't shower. though after hours, during those long nights when you're over at his house, he'd kiss you everywhere- he don't care where!

- jimmy smokes, he smokes alot, it takes his mind off of things. rent, money for lily's new school supplies, money to save up for studio time... everything is just so overwhelming and cigarettes just... takes them away. he smells like marlboros 24/7.

-smoking with him is a must! just imagine, sitting ontop of a high rooftop, looking up at the stars while you two share a cigarette. he'd light one up and offer you the first hit, holding the cigarette up to your lips so you wouldn't even have to lift a finger.

- however if you say you dislike the smell or just hate cigarettes in general, he'd probably try to cut down on his smoking. he couldn't just cut it out entirely since cigarettes and sodas are basically essentials in his diet but he'd try and smoke long before you two meet up for a date or something. he'd totally try buying one of those cheap cologne to try and cover up the smell.

- he doesn't have much money. obviously. he'd be the type to bring you a cold can of diet coke, or maybe a one of those small bars of chocolate- he's drowning in debt, please understand him!

- Jimmy's shoulders are always sore after hours and hours of factory shifts so if you massage his shoulders he'd be so grateful. he'd stop at whatever he was doing and just go still, stare into nothing and enjoy the sensation of your hands.
