Choi Min Soo a.k.a. Typecasted to the max, but hey he's the entertainment industry go-to gangster even now. If people think of a gangster in popular media, chances are high they will either thing of Ma Dong Seok or Uncle Minsoo. Especially in the 90s he had a chokehold over the gangster image.

I kinda came to that realization after scrolling through for a bit, since I basically only focus on the pretty parts of popular culture such as actors and actresses, dramas, movies etc. Ofc the real life 80s weren't as bright and hopeful and aesthetic and vaporwave-y... Riots and killings in Gwangju as well as in the student movement for democracy, poverty, a killer work and military atmosphere (since it was a military dictatorship), corporal punishment... all was still there and I acknowledge and respect that 🙏🏾

Im so so glad she's doing so much better now and can even take some jokes about it. Shit was traumatic asf and the fact that there are still people willing to shill for that chaebol family and d1ckride them into oblivion, hating on Go Hyunjung and still spreading old rumours that the family had spread during their smear campaign back then is crazy to me. More power to her!

Like, good that we are nor in that generation anymore where an artist or actor had to bend to the whims of the public... so many happy relationships were broken up. So much happiness taken away, so much pressure and loneliness and negativity. I'm happy we are in a slightly better place now.
