This hurts. I want nothing but to be numb. I know this will hurt for a long time. I'm not gonna get over it easily. It's not something I wanted. But that's the problem , it's not something I wanted.

I had a dream, I had a dream that you called me at 4am and when I picked up you were just crying. You told me your mother had just gotten into a crash outside the house, obviously dead, and you didn't know what to do besides call 9-1-1. Your dad apparently wasn't home and neither were your sisters, all out with friends. I could hear your brother crying in the background and the occasional sound of you trying to comfort him. But I didn't know what you wanted me to do and I didn't know why you'd called me of all people... I tried to comfort you verbally but we both know how horrid I am at that. You asked me if I actually cared about what had just occurred or if I was just being nice, and I explained that I cared. Of course I cared, that was your mother and I understand how crushing that could be. I told you I'd come by the next morning if you wanted me to and you'd said yes. I heard the sirens in the background and then someone run up to you and start asking you questions and you told me you had to go, that you'd see me tomorrow. I woke up this morning and checked my phone, checked my recent calls and realized it had just been a dream.. I was actually about to get out of bed and get dressed so I'm glad I checked. I don't know why I believed that could ever happen and why you'd call me when there are so many other people.
