Our photos came back today. She legit gave us 81 PHOTOS. What am I going to do with this many pictures?? I’m currently downloading the absolutely huge file so I can look through them. But now, the question is, when to announce? I’m 8w2d so it’s not *super* early, but I dunno...

Like 75% of me wants to announce now. We didn’t do our original idea with the letterboard and the Japan and Italy onesies, but after seeing a preview of the photos, I don’t think it’ll look right if I do that myself and add it to a post. Maybe we can just do that for fun and use it as a cover photo or something?

Just threw up the first time this pregnancy. Not going to lie, it was making me a little worried that I hadn’t really gotten sick yet. I usually start getting sick like a week and a half earlier.

We flew back home to California for a few days this weekend. It was a fast trip with absolutely no time for relaxation. Kennedy did so well for how much traveling we did and how busy we were. She had a blast at the Quinceañera we went to and was the most adorable thing dancing out on the floor with all the other kids. Today was our first full day back home and it was obviously she was happy to be here. She played with her toys and books all day and was excited for her nap. We are all still recovering from the super busy weekend, I’m so damn tired but we had fun. I miss my friends so much. That’s honestly the only thing I miss about California, my friends and my dad. My dad comes up to visit often. I wish I could visit more.

I feel like crap. All i want to do is lay down in a fetal position. My damn stomach has been hurting since yesterday. I had a piece of toast, a peach fruit cup and tea. Hoping it stays down...its threatening not to. I already had diarrhea this morning so there went whatever i did have in my stomach, which let me tell you is not much. Yesterday all i had was: toast, banana, grilled cheese sandwhich and fries. And hopefully at least one glass of water. I'm starting to feel dehydrated but its so hard to drink anything. I need to take a shower...its day 3..haha dont judge. But that means standing. Any position that isnt me having my knees close to my chest...hurts. Ugh. Why is this pregnancy so painful. With Cain it was literally rainbows and butterflies that i didn't know it could be like this.

8w2d: ovulation-like pain

Since last night, I’ve been having some dull, achey pain on and off on my right side. It feels exactly like the pain that I get when I ovulate. It doesn’t really bother me when I’m just sitting down, but it sort of gets tender when I go from standing to sitting or walk quickly.

Of course, the first place that my mind goes is to ectopic pregnancy. I’ve researched it to death (of course) and my symptoms don’t seem anywhere near severe enough to be an ectopic pregnancy, at least not at this point. I have no spotting or bleeding, no dizziness, and no severe cramps. From what I can tell, it’s either round ligament pain or a corpus luteum cyst.

I have my first ultrasound in two days so if things don’t get worse and no new symptoms present themselves, I’m just going to wait until that appointment to confirm where the pregnancy is/that things are developing normally.
