it’s like in 2x01 buck finally has someone who is able to challenge him. eddie is the first to say that he can defuse the bomb, he’ll go in, he puts on the LAPD vest and just walks by buck to the ambulance. and buck follows him. i feel like all through season 1 buck was the one who did risky things in their team and now there’s eddie, who challenges him and helps him level up
