Es conocido ampliamente como "El Ciudadano de América" debido a su labor incansable a favor de la independencia de las Antillas y la mejora de la educación en diversos países.

This is Eugenio María de Hostos (1839 - 1903). He was an intellectual, educator and puertorrican patriot fundamental to the history of the Caribbean and Latin America as a whole. Hostos is widely known as "El Ciudadano de América" as a result of his tireless labor in favor of the independence of the Antilles and the betterment of education in various countries.

Born in 1947 in East Harlem, New York, Luciano is a poet, journalist, media personality, community activist, and former politician of Puerto Rican heritage. He played a pivotal role in the late 1960s and 1970s as part of both the Young Lords Party and The Last Poets, helping shape a new wave of political and cultural consciousness among Puerto Ricans in New York and across the United States.

Often described as an early and influential voice in the rise of Puerto Rican radical activism, Luciano’s work bridged poetry, politics, and media, amplifying Afro-Boricua identity and community empowerment during a critical era of organising and resistance.
