My Boxer, Like A Duracell [[Closed RP with itsthesameleavesidiot]]
The fight that the two boxers had been building up to since after the battle with Daemon Spade was to occur today. Ever since things returned to normal for the two groups of teens and everyone began getting used to attending Namimori. They were now able to "get along," in the sense that everyone went back to bickering and dealing with things as they did before the inheritance ceremony was to occur. This meant that the two fighters from both of the families were back to bickering and fighting like kindergartners. But as the weeks pressed on, their tension built more and more.
One day, they both couldn't deny it anymore and snapped at each other and challenged one another to settle it with fists. Ryohei had to get Koyo to compromise doing it right then and there, and to have it during the boxing club's practise in their boxing ring. The Sun guardian had a set of rules to abide by, and informal battles were something he couldn't do.
On the day of the boxer's match, the white haired male couldn't help be excited and anxious in anticipation of this fight. It was obvious the Forest flame user felt the same way because neither had said one word or insult between the two. There were unspoken exchanges with eye glances, both definitely couldn't wait for those last 10 minutes of class to end so they could leave to the boxing club's practise room.
As soon as the bell rang, both didn't waste a second to get the hell out of their chairs and bolt it to the door, racing one another to the building that belonged to the boxing club. As soon as they got there, both were quick to change, not breaking eye contact for very long as they got ready. They got shorts on, correct shoes on, no shirts, taping their hands-- ankles if they needed them. Some of the boxing club members were already shuffling in slowly, also jazzed about seeing this fight happen.
The Vongola guardian is the first into the ring, already beginning to stretch his body out, jumping up and down trying to warm up his body. He threw a few practise punches, making sure all his mechanics were functioning properly. The Vice President of the boxing club was to be their referee for their match. When his opponent finally joined him in the ring, he started getting more excited, and began yelling to Koyo in his excited tone.
"OI! 'SAME LEAVES' BOY! PREPARE TO LEARN FROM THE BEST FORM OF BOXING! ONE WITH HONOUR AND EXTREME PASSION!"
The Sasagawa boy starts pounding his gloves together and he jumps on the balls of his feet a few times. There's a huge grin on his face as the VP--now referee gets in the ring and is motioning them both to gather at the center. His grey eyes are looking Aoba directly in those red eyes of his, smirking as they get closer, putting in their mouth guards. The VP explains the rules to them then tells them to tap gloves, and they do and the referee gets the hell out of there.
Immediately Ryohei steps back and both shoulders face the opponent on an even line, the back foot is on the ball and bent at a 45 degree angle. He leans forward slightly on the front foot, tilting forward, ready to spring into action. The more formal boxer has both hands up to protect his face, with his left hand slightly forward with the right hovering right at the cheekbone. The male has been ready for this rematch to happen since their battle after the Inheritance Ceremony. Of course they weren't going all out for this, but being able to just fight to see who has the stronger style was something the light haired male was excited to see the outcome.
It was of no surprise when Koyo came charging with the first blow, while the Sun Guardian was trying to strategise the best moves to use against the green haired male. When his opponent's right-cross came, he slipped underneath it. Stepping sideways, head low, he twisted his front foot and swung his left fist around, aiming to drive it straight into his ribs. But the Shimon guardian saw right past it and blocked it with a sudden quickness.
As the fight continued, neither was able to get many solid hits on one another. They would either slip, block or end up clinching one another; they ended up having to be broken up multiple times. The only hits that Ryohei couldn't escape from were the dirty moves that the Forest flame user would use against him. The only hits that the Vongola guardian could get on Aoba were the very old, classic moves that almost no one uses anymore.
As time passed, both their movements obviously slowed during the fight. They were no basically taking turns clinching one another. But they kept fighting, even with the VP offering for it to be a tie and for them to try another time. But both were stubborn and they kept going until both collapse from exhaustion.
The tanner of the two fighters laid on his back, breathing heavily, covered in sweat of him and his opponent. He lazily turned his head towards Koyo, doing his best to still look determined and glare. "...Nnno...wayy.... 'M...looossiiin' uh...fffight...ta youuu...." He says, chest rising and falling quickly with a mild difficulty. Ryohei was doing his best to get his body to cool down faster so he could continue, but his body wasn't cooperating with him.
