I just painted my nails for the concert tomorrow. I'm also going out with Daniel tomorrow night and then having Bareburger with Michelle ^_^.. And then I'm going to the club fair on Wednesday. I miss being president of the Outing Club at Bard. I'm still in the middle of writing my essay for Multi-Ethnic Lit.. I'm like running on green tea and a hope that is super super conditional. Stephanie beat me to it.. I was going to talk about what it is like to be a 17 year old. 17 is the perfect age. You are young enough to fuck up but not old enough to legally be held accountable for your actions. Your body is most likely at its prime.. And you are cunning. Very cunning. I was scared to turn 18 because I was afraid of all the responsibilities that would come with the age but I guess we just have to realize that time stops for no man. Anywho, I am drugged with lots of NyQuil (I hope Nina in the future breaks this bad habit) and I'm terribly sick and tired and about to knock out but in less than two hours, it will be Stephanie's birthday so here is a happy birthday in advance. I love you, girl. And I plan on staying by your side for as long as I can because special friendships are something you keep close to you. They only come once in a life time. And you are my one in a million. Sweet dreams. I hope to show you the best time out this Saturday.

9NA here!!! Today is Friday. I have an essay on Arenas due Tuesday so I should get started on that.. My clothing from Forever 21 finally came.. I got a dress and a winter hat/beanie and I'm unhappy with it..
I'm going to a Regina Spektor concert on Wednesday. I have something to look forward to at least..
It's also Stephanie Tse's birthday on Monday!!!
Next week is a busy week. I'm off to watch Eureka on Netflix. Night~
DAY ONE
Okay. This is exciting!!! I'm going to do my best to digress from all of my stress and blog about my life so that in 5 years or so, I can try to remember what it felt like to be a first year in college and all. Unsure of my career paths, bodily tattoos and piercing debates, friendship highs and lows, and even my familial issues.. I want to remember it all for what it is was. I want to know how much has changed or stayed the same because ultimately, these events forward will be the "times of my life". I just don't know it yet~
Today, I met Faisal for the first time! Faisal is Stephanie's (my better half) better half. We had an awkward walk to Hunter College where we sneaked Stephanie into to school with my ID card which was difficult.. Not because of the security but because Stephanie was rather disinclined to break the law and second guessed her criminal-like impulses. I showed them the Hunter College secrets board. Boards were filled with hand-written, submitted secrets by Hunter College students and it was very relieving to write believe it or not. I wrote about how in spite of my father leaving my family the way he did, I miss him. But I'll never admit that to my mother because she's emotionally distraught as it is. I want to be strong for the both of us.
Faisal had Chipotle for the first time today! I took a picture!!! And Stephanie dropped a relatively big chunk of guacamole which made my heart sad because I am in love with their franchise and all the food that comes with it. So any drop of food gone to waste is a slap to the face.. Hahahaha. Then, we talked about lucid dreaming which was cool. Afterwards, I met up with Daniel who is the cutest little Israelite FOB!!! He also had Chipotle for the first time and I took a picture of his first bite as well! He didn't like it which was also disappointing.. Then, he walked me back to school and asked me to watch Paranormal Activity 4 with him. Eh..
During Goodman's class, I was not paying attention (as per usual) and then he called on me to talk about my most favorite part about the book. The book we were reading, "Before Night Falls" was a great great great book and I loved it but being put on the spot and all, I could not think. I had the biggest brain fart of my life and could not think of anything I read except for the part about animal sex. When Arenas freely expresses and shares his sexuality with the farm animals in his adjacent surroundings.. It was awkward to share that specific part as my favorite part of the book but that is life for you when you don't pay attention.
To end the night, I had frozen yogurt from Berry Wild with Erik (with a K) and Michelle. Delicious - as expected. I always get the same thing when I'm there: Half strawberry, half plain with peanut butter chunks, strawberries, and oreos. HEAVEN!!!
I am now in the midst of writing an essay for Multi-Ethnic, talking to Jane on G-MAIL because we never see each other anymore, and listening to renditions of "Only Wanna Give It To You". Good night to the future Nina and Stephanie who will read this one day in boredom :)
