closed starter for @codexq --- zeus & apollo.
The skies are already dark and the only source of light outside is the one provided the beautiful moon shining above, and Apollo is ready to put on comfortable clothes and rest when he hears the sound of the doorbell --- a beautiful tune created by metal strings colliding against one another, instead of the usual and annoying ding dong.
The sun god frowns, walking towards the door with a confused expression since he wasn’t waiting for guests that night, and when he opens the door... The frown intensifies and he lets a loud sigh escape past his lips. He doesn’t even try to disguise his displeasure, his expression screams it.
“You,” he says, followed by another deep sigh. “I didn’t think you knew where my house is located, who gave you my address?” And it’s true, not everyone knows where Apollo has been living for the last years --- a small and cozy wooden house on top of a hill, still in the lands of Olympus but far away from the heart of the kingdom. Far away from the Palace and its residents.
He opens the door a bit more, stepping aside to give his father room to walk in. “What do you want, Zeus?” Because he doesn’t think the king is worth being called father.
