The words hit him all of a sudden, as they rounded one of the alleys, Uno came to a sudden stop. He had almost forgotten that they were even being chased. The sheer thrill of it all – like old times, but with someone else. Someone…
Uno turned to the other male, heart pounding in his chest, and leaned forward a bit, panting. Nevermind all that nostalgia earlier. Not now.
A large grin spread over his features and he pointed a thumb at himself as he righted himself. “Of course I have a plan! We’re going to jump this fence! Over this fence and cross the street. I know a place to lay low. We’re lucky enough to have lazy officers pursuing, really.”
The blond moved away to scale the chain link fence as though it were nothing, and turned to look at the black-haired individual on the other side. “You can scale a fence. Right? Right?” Shit, he hoped so, because their options were pretty slim to none for anything else.
While Jyugo's newest companion seemed to be making a cakewalk out of escaping their pursuer, you could say that the raven haired male was in a word not having such an easy time of it.
They came to a dead stop in front of a chain link fence. Jyugo had rested his hands on his knees as he leaned forward trying to get a chance to catch his breath. His breath hitched as he turned to the blond with his bi-colored gaze.
Fence? Was he expecting him to actually scale this fence after putting all of his stamina to escape the lazabout officer who had spotted them.
'I'm beginning to regret running away with this guy..' He thought to himself, but not wanting to look like a joke he righted himself after managing to get his breathing underneath control.
"Of course, I can climb a fence. Anyone can do that." He was putting on a sense of bravado that he quickly had to abandon and back up his words as he watched the blond scale the fence with ease.
"Anyone can.." He added mostly telling himself before tackling the fence. Surprisingly, he didn't have as bad of a time of it as he expected to have. Scrambling to the top he was apprehensive before placing one leg on the border separating him from the blond. The other leg followed suit and he was actually almost over- and he would have been completely if he hadn't got the black hood of his hoodie caught on some of the more rough for wear chain link.
"Just give me a moment.." He found himself defending his situation. Who was this guy anyway?
