Minki sighed as he looked down at the letter he wrote, fingertips brushing continuously over the paper, gaze unfocused as his mind was drifting away. He had been planning to give it to the male he liked so much, who made him feel so happy and comfortable whenever he was around. But after finding out said male would probably never be interested in him, he had changed his mind and decided to never speak up about it. If he didn’t openly admit his feelings towards him he could just pretend that they weren’t there, right?
A noise made him snap out of his thoughts for a moment and he looked up, realising he still wasn’t alone even though it was already rather late and usually there weren’t that many people coming to get coffee at this hour. He had promised his brother to take care of the cats in the café and afterwards lock the shop and go home straight. But today was Valentine’s Day and the whole city gloomed in pink and hearts and couples that showed their affection. Not that the café had been any different during daytime. But here at least he was alone with his thoughts.
