Her pack made a dull thud as it came in contact with the kitchen table, worn shoulders knocked back in a rolling stretch as she tried to get some feeling back in her joints that wasn’t the tinge of seized muscle. Her brows furrowed at a noise in the distance. Something - someone familiar, all but screaming her name.
“ Charlotte, is that - ”
Caught up in a hug before she could get another word out, a startled gasp escaping her tongue before she began to chuckle and wrap one arm around the younger. Holding her close in a tender, polite hug.
“ Ah-! ... I didn’t realize you missed me that much! ”
