Dear Brendon,

Thank you for being you. Thank you for being my home and being my companion. Thank you for making music that instantly makes me happy and takes away my pain if only for 3 minutes. You’ve done an enormous justice here in creating music and sharing it with me. I’ve gone through a lot of tough times–times I thought I wouldn’t make it out of alive. And then I could turn to you, and you would pull me out of the trenches again. You’re everything I needed as a teenager and everything I still need. I admire the way you look at the world in front of you and make it your own creation. I hope to someday do the same with my work and make it a passion. You inspire me on so many levels, even ones I can’t comprehend. Thank you, again, for just being my constant, close friend. I love you.
