Julia Robert's new picture, Mirror Mirror, with Armie Hammer, Lily Collins and Nathan Lane opened this weekend to lackluster reviews (5.7 of 10 stars on IMDB, and we all know reviews on IMDB are high during opening weekend...ugh).
Although I will probably not see the flick, I was pleased to read that Lily Collins wears a tiara from 1976 of 144 diamonds, weighing 77.34 carats, by Van Cleef & Arpels. The Hollywood Reporter @THR notes that the tiara was featured in VCA's special exhibition at the Smithsonian's National Design Museum @CooperHewitt in New York last year.
Indeed, it was !
I've just consulted my library and the tiara was initially worn by HSH Princess Grace of Monaco for the wedding of Princess Caroline in 1978. Lucky, Lily!
