Here's to the ladies of fiction across the LGBTQIA+ spectrum, who have forged ahead on adventures and in battle, who have thrilled us with challenging and overcoming the impossible. Here's to the ladies who were not given their due, who were unjustly removed from the script and screen, sacrificed for stereotype and trope, for excuses that should not be excused. Here's to the ladies who have yet to be written, who exist in thought and notion, scenes and paragraphs swirling from dreams into restless pens. And here's to the creators who will bring them forth, proud and resolute, in image and word, in stories that will show the flaws and strengths, the human aspect and its many hues. Here's to you who will bring to life the ladies that will inspire and empower us in the days and years to come.
