Been busy lately, thought I'd drop a life update.
I finished my junior year of high school. Got all A's and a 3 on my AP Environmental Exam. I also had all A's in the Dual Enrollment courses I took this year.
Early June, I got my first job. I work in retail but I am not going to disclose where. I also got several volunteer hours from the Youth Film Camp my Film teacher hosts each summer.
My first day of my senior year of high school was August 10th. My first day of DE classes was August 16th (except for my one accelerated course that starts Sept. 13).
I am a member of the 4th year of the film program at my school. It was an interview process rather than you just choose it so the teacher has the ones who are serious about film unlike the last 3 years. This year we are going to All-American High School Film Festival in New York City. We are currently in the process of planning our film. We also will be doing state competitions and STN.
My senior class takes a trip to Washington D.C. this year. I got my senior photos done on August 12th, my mom said I looked uncomfortable and I was because I dont like pictures much.
I am also fully vaccinated. I got both doses in July. I do still wear a mask to school depending on the class. In my film class it's just us 10 and we sit close so I wear the mask. And then I have a class where I work with another student (like in-class tutoring) where I will be wearing my mask once placed with a student.
All in all it's been a productive summer. Been looking for a new therapist, got lots done this summer. It's been good.
