i think phil was just talking in a normal voice. everything just sounds louder when it's in the middle of the night and there are no other sounds. but i highkey doubt dan would wake up from phil talking in the kitchen. (i completely understand the sentiment though i was like SHUSH PHIL WHISPER all the time but i think it doesn't really make sense :D)
