So how was camp weehawken? Did you have fun?
Fuzzy head Robotnik x reader Part 1
Based on the song Who is she and Little Dark Age cause those songs just got me in a mood
Warnings: angst, mentions of brainwashing and isolation
word count: 330 words, 1798 characters
Summary: Working with interpol has its benefits and so many downfalls. After a job where y/n had to work with Robotnik things fell downhill when she arrived back at HQ. Of course this led to Interpol making sure that she forgot the bastard man existed.... entirely. (Insert the plot of Sonic 2020 here but with a clueless hurting Y/n)

Spending nights in basements of dimly lit rooms was a way of coping. Not for her but those poor fools around her. Knowing she’s tied up down there makes them calm. Creating disruptions in everyone's thinking got too difficult. So why not mess with the source? They thought. The source that got tampered with, long ago.
Evil always taints, and that's not to say her or the Doctor are evil. They’re just working against time to find a solution to questions that they ask, and of course ones they’re forced to find solutions to.
Many nights spent thinking of warm embraces cause disruptions. In a dimly lit room a figure sits. Many hours alone. Alone to think of what they’ve done, of course this is what happened everytime they worked with Robotnik. Interpol found a way to erase that connection, a connection that grew faster each time.
Of course with greater tampering, comes a mess with perception, of all that's above ground. When it comes to tampering with the mind it is to be done so with skill and expertise. Of course not just anyone can meddle with a mind so many times over. It has to be done at the point just. Before. Breakage. At the point where there is no return to sanity.
“Sitting in dimly lit rooms does no one any good, but it gives you time to think. Time out loud where you can hear the echoes off the wall. But you know it's yourself so you know you’re not losing control.” Y/n speaks, “no one’s around to hear but it provides comfort.” A comforting voice is something we all need. Is it not? A camera in the corner whirrs to show y/n hunched over in a metal chair hands tied behind her back, face thrown forward. A commanding voice rings over the loudspeaker:
“We have a job for you y/n”
A clang reverberates from the room. The camera becomes enveloped in darkness.

The sharp bang of the chair hitting the ground reverberated throughout the room, creating a ringing in y/n’s ears. The floor feels cold even though the air was hot. From staying underground for so long, the point of reference for temperature or light deteriorates very quickly.
The rush of footsteps boomed down the imposing hallway, and into the room. Wildly looking around, Y/N is suddenly surrounded. The ropes tying her to the chair suddenly come loose with a few tugs of the men's hands. As soon as she was up a blindfold was placed over her eyes.
“What the hell?? I cant see out of this shit.” Thrashing around Y/N tries to regain her grasp on her surroundings.
“Not now, you can see better outdoors, you’ve been under low light for too long.” Y/N stops,
“how long..?”
“Too long” the voice insists.
“HOW LONG DAMN IT”
The voice hesitates looking back and forth at its companions. “…a- a year”
Y/N stops, still, almost as if she stopped working the seconds left his mouth. A beat.
“A YEAR?” Y/N bursts out. Has it really been that long? A year went by just like that. A year since she was needed. A year since they found her useful.
A new voice reverberates through the room.
“Now let's get you out of here, we have lots to discuss.” Y/N regains her composure and nods, off to the debriefing.

Green hills, Montana. Recently this little American town has become the hot spot for military and government resources. A place as small as Green hills should not be a place for large amounts of military personnel. Considering that something very confusing has happened in Green hills, Montana, it was inevitable to happen. The military is always in everyone's business.
What's worse than the American government in your face is interpol. When the EMP went off Interpol's orbiting satellite went down. Of course this means they are allowed to lead their own investigation. This is where Y/N comes handy. Being lead detective in large scale investigations has had its uses. Of course this time Interpol could only afford to send one scout into the Americas. Y/N was their best.
Interpol had high hopes as long as Robotnik was not pulled in the case as well.
