The importance of being patient with our parents

When I came out, back in 2015, my mom was supportive but had her amount of shit talk about lgbt stuff because she was ignorant about it.

Now she is full trans rights and watchs gay tv shows like Bly Manor ,The Wilds and As Five (a Brazilian tv show) with me.

Some parents aren't homophobic, they are just ignorant and it comes to us to make them a ally.
