Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm absolutely losing it over the SL-9 case.
A serial killer escaped interrogation and, from everyone else's perspective, murdered the prosecutor handling his case.
So all I can picture is all the prosecutor's sitting around the table like "welp, no one in their right minds going to touch this case..."
And there's a long pause before Manfred Von Karma just goes "Actually you know what, I have an idea..."
And just throws the file on Miles desk like "It's your big break and since you're under me you have to take this case bythewaytheprosecutororiginallyhandlingthiscasewasmurderedandimlowkeyhopingyourenext."
