anyways anyone that thinks tommy needs to stop including women in his jokes/bits or thinks that he’s sexist, get off my blog.

by saying he shouldn’t be making LIGHTHEARTED jokes about women at all, under the assumption that it’s “disrespectful”, you’re boiling women down to nothing more than a sensitive topic and the struggles they face instead of REAL and NORMAL human beings, just like men.

he makes negative jokes about men, he’ll say things like “i hate all men. i want all men to die. all men are the worst. i’m the only good man” and you don’t bat an eye. i haven’t seen a single person say that that is disrespectful to men or whatever. but he makes a lighthearted joke about women and says something along the lines of “women are the best and i love them. i love all women a lot.” and you flip your shit in the idea that he’s being disrespectful? you’re more sexist than anything you could possibly skew his words into. fuck off. normally i can understand when people are hurt by jokes or words but this is one of those things i genuinely don’t get.

why don’t you spend your time complaining about men that ACTUALLY DO make harmful and sexist jokes about women? men that DO make jokes about women rooted in stereotypes, objectification, and ignorance. not a joke about “lol boobs” are you kidding me?? and yes, i know he HAS made a few harmful or generally weird jokes in the past. but he’s a teenager. and he’s just trying to be funny. he learns quickly what is and isn’t okay to joke about and apologizes for it.

seriously, if his jokes make you that unfomfortable, stop watching him. watch someone else. go watch female streamers instead. he is allowed to make jokes about women and men alike. he is allowed to talk about how he likes girls as a STRAIGHT TEENAGE boy. you’re not a feminist for trying to get “call him out or educate him on being harmful” you’re just annoying and creating more problems out of nothing. stop. please.
