Season of lightmending had been out for three days and I want to share my thoughts on it.
I was originally planning to skip this season but mending the lanterns was scratching the exploration-and-hunting-down-wax part of my brain and I love it. Also I saw the pioneer's hairstyle and wanted it.
However I feel like somethings could be implemented better. Like if one person recovered a fragment, all players should automatically gained that light so they won't waste their time hunting it down. (yes, there could be some people who would do nothing and piggyback off of other's effort but I honestly don't care, I having way to much fun getting lost and stuck in a maze like hole in the ground)
The other is that there should be more of those fragments finders things (or at least right next to the starting area) I spent way too long today looking for the singular one and just found it only for someone else to stumble onto the last piece we need.
I do however, like how the fragments glow blue and the candle bundles glow orange, really sets them apart from the surrounding purple-ish environment and easier to find.
TLDR: I get to be an exploration gremlin but things could be better to find/collect.
