Keep having surreal flashbacks of being at the pub with my lady, Stitch, Curse and Vince.
That was such a good night! Can't believe it was almost a month ago! :(
No place like UK!!! pt. 2
So it was the fun to experience London after midninght :P
The next day was quite interesting.. had a hard time while waking up but I packed up my bags, went to hotel breakfast where all the other guests stared at me like a plague. Propably looked like one though.
Bus trip to southampton went quite guickly. When I got to the hotel, I immediately started to put on my makeup and get ready to hunt for Talking Heads. I literally didn't know a shit where it was but found it in the end, I got away from the bus at wrong stop so I had to walk like 2km to the venue but it was good, wasn't so cold then just to stand there.
I was super lucky, when I arrived to the venue, The Defiled arrives with a car like 3 minutes after me and so I got to meet AvD then :) Aww he is so nice, didn't take picture with him cause he had his bags and all in there so I didn't wanna bother him. :) Stitch said too a word or two and asked if I came by a train or what. Then they went inside and gotta say it was entertaining to listen the soundcheck there outside :D
There wasn't anyone but me and two girls, though they were at the back door stalking the bands, I didn't wanna go there cause I would've felt a little bit intruder there haha..
But then there started to come more people and i gotta say i did feel myself really uncomfortable. They were all under 18 I guess and they did not know how to behave nor queu for the band... I hate when there's like 2 people at first at the line and then there comes 6 more of their friends and stays at the front of the line !! Like that's not fair for the people who have waited longer there.. get to the back of the line or come early.
I don't have anything against young people, as long as they can behave but these ones were beyond the line of good behaviour...
When the doors opened, I got the pendant which the merch lady forgot to give me the last night :) Luckily I saw her at the afterparty and got to say that I didn't get it and she promised to give it to me at southampton!
Then I got to the front row and it was exciting since there wasn't any barrier so it felt like the first time i saw them in sweden. Was in guite the same spot too :P like between Stitch and AvD, Good place :P
The gig was really good too and it was so awesome to get to sing those songs again, I was so full of energy and feeling that I wrecked my neck moshing xD With long dreads it is quite interesting. But i don't mind <3 I carry this pain with joy <3 :D
When the were finishing, Stitch D came infront of me and gave his guitar pick to me, thanks for that man <3 I was so surprised !
After the gig I didn't stay there to meet them, I was so tired and I had to wake up super early since my bus departed at 9.30 back to London. I had met them at the day so I thought I wouldn't wanna seem like a creep and made the decision for once to just go to hotel. ofcourse it would've been cool to say the last hi to them before getting back to finland but oh well, sleep won this time, I also didn't know how late the night busses would go so I was little afraid to miss the last one too.
Anyway, these two days was so incredible that I don't even have words <3 it was all and so much more that I ever hoped for! Now I am full of inspiration to get forward with my life, I actually feel that I am able to get through my school things without cracking off my mind. Serious thanks to The Defiled, I owe you so much <3
