ray asks, out loud, "im surprised you and rip never got together, sara"

sara laughs. rip laughs. stein looks around confused. “what?”

"we’ve been banging this entire time” says sara and rip blushes even though he’s also amused

jax looks shocked, but also not shocked. stein looks like he’s walked in on his parents having sex.

mick turns to ray. “i dont get whats so funny. partners have sex. it’s what they do.”

“wait” ray pokes mick in the chest “DOES THIS MEAN YOU AND LEN - “

“duh. we’re married.”

the entire team erupts and starts talking at the same time.

a character I didn’t used to like but now do: Rebekah

a character I used to like but now don’t: Alaric

a character I’m indifferent about: so many... but I guess all the supporting cast? 

a character who deserved better: Bonnie & Enzo & Tyler & Jeremy

a ship I’ve never been able to get into: DE, D/anyone

a ship I’ve never been able to get over: Jeranna, carenzo, jalaric

a cute, low-key ship: Bonenzo fight me, also matt/rebekah

an unpopular ship but I still enjoyed it: matt/rebekah seems unpopular? is BE unpopular? who knows

my favourite storyline/moment: s1-s3 basically and everything BE

a storyline that never should have been written: SO MUCH - the sire bond business was a mESS as was enzo in s6 before the lily reveal (also... why is BE in 7x14 so violent? we needed a better transition from LE to BE btw) and just... s7 is a mess. and why is enzo dead?? there were Better Ways 

my first thoughts on the show: wtf am i doing i dont want this i wont claim it i’m doing this for the bonenzo (and the ladies)

Second favorite character: also cheating - Elena, Matt, Tyler

Least favorite character: Damon

The character I’m most like: Caroline

Favorite pairing: Enzo/Bonnie (but i also like Tyler/Caroline, Matt/Elena, Stefan/Elena, Matt/Rebekah)

Least favorite pairing: Damon/Elena, Damon/Caroline, Damon/Bonnie

Favorite moment: any BE scene (except the unnecessary violent ones in 7x14) + Elena’s goodbyes

Rating out of 10: 5/10 for J/E/M/C/B/T + E and BE everything else is kinda trash tbh

A: Ships that you currently like a lot

Like you don’t know. Bonnie/Enzo, but also Bonnie/Elena/Caroline/Matt/Tyler/Jeremy + Enzo in whatever combination. Caroline/Enzo/Bonnie & Caroline/Matt/Tyler are my ot3s. And non-TVD (lol what is that) is Rip/Sara and the sensates.

B:  A pairing that you initially didn’t consider, but someone changed your mind.

Mick/Len actually. I was firmly in the “best friends” camp and then around the time they started talking about rings and Ari was yelling about them being married, it kinda just… hit me.

it absolutely wouldnt have worked as well if it wasnt for the atmosphere that the producers created with casting the new actors to play Aaron, Laurel and Chas. And putting in the old Woolpack and the old village. It definitely made us understand Ashley's perspective, and while the actors had mannerisms of Aaron, Laurel and Chas to make it comforting for Ashley, you definitely found yourself second guessing yourself even when you knew who they were after they were revealed

yep you’re completely right, everything just worked together so perfectly and it must have taken the team a lengthy amount of time to actually cast actors (gosh especially the one who played aaron) who were able to fit the characters so well - and make it all the more confusing as a viewer like what he reminds me of - oh he’s meant to be aaron!! sorta thing. it was just amazing. going to the effort of having the old woolpack set too was just amazing, it added to the level of confusion and helped highlight where ashely’s mindset really was. it was so sad and raw and touching and exactly why emmerdale is the best british soap i think! 💗

Honestly ignoring the fandom is whats gotten me through as well. Aaron/Robert and Aaron himself has gotten me through a rough patch that i just had so i was NOT ready to lose them. And honestly they WILL get through it. I trust Maxine more than I trust the fandom

Yeah, it’s not like I’m going to ignore the whole fandom, but only the people who keep being negative and hateful towards Robert/Robron. I’m so invested in Robron, they’re my happy place, and that’s why all this negativity is just really bringing me down and that’s not something I want. I want to feel good about Robron, I want to enjoy them again and I want to enjoy being in this fandom, but that won’t happen if I keep reading and seeing negative/hateful things. So for now I decided to ignore the anti-robert’s and anti-robron’s (and that unfortunately means I also had to unfollow some people) and try to stay positive.

And of course Robron will get through it, they are getting married and (probably) getting their own place, so that wouldn’t happen if they’re on bad terms. But the problem is that tuesday’s episode made people see Robert/Robron differently and that’s something that shouldn’t have happened. Emmerdale really messed up with that episode and they can’t take it back and that’s what really sucks. I have faith in Maxine’s writing, but she can’t fix this mess, so I think we’re just gonna have to wait and see how this story will go. 

(I hope everything I just said makes sense?? I got way too less sleep last night so my brains aren’t really working properly rn)
