where did you get your sailor jupiter cosplay costume? how much did it cost?

It’s not bought, it’s custom-made as part of La Soldier Cosplay; our Venus and Neptune from La Soldier did most of the main costume sewing (skirts, bows, collars); I did some of the original bodysuits and the knee-high boots myself :D

I also styled the current wig I use, with help from LaSoldier’s Venus. My tiara and brooch gem are both commissions, since we didn’t have anybody who could do metalwork or resin-casting at the time.

I (or someone I’m costuming with) make all my costumes, it’s a huge part of the fun of cosplay for me. :3

(And as for cost, it’s been a while, but I’d ballpark JUST the materials in the $100-200 range. A commission should be more than that to pay for your costumer’s time and effort.)
