You'd always be the pretty girl, that you never believed you were; our tomorrows were supposed to be infinite but I guess there's not even a today now.

Even after all these years, it still affects you; you think it wouldn't, you don't want it to, yet it does. You keep a bold face, thinking you're strong, but when there's no one, when you're alone, you break down; with no one to hold you back, you let yourself fall, into the pits of nothingness. -DG
Tonight I scream your name, Tonight I scream your name, In the hope you hear me, Never have I raised my voice, More than a barely audible whisper, But this time no holds barred, I screamed. Clutching remnants of my heart, Clutching remnants of my heart, I waited, in silence, A fool, A fool, No more.

Inspired by the post of @torrentialmonsoon on Foolish Love.
I used to love solitude, but now, in these dark and lonesome nights, I crave nothing more than your presence.

What was once thought to be a fairytale, is now one of the worst nightmares you never thought you'd experience. -DG
Black and White //Living this life in black and white, Has its own aura of calmness. Yes, colours are necessary and make our lives bright, But sometimes we need clarity, absolute limpidness.// //The reflection of these trees and skies in the lake, Very much like ours in the mirror. Staring back, still and something you can't fake, For the world may not know you, from yourself there is no departure.// //Scattered thoughts, crystal clear visions, Dull mind, staring into nothingness. Craving healing and recovery, amidst the lesions, Transparency in our lives, in between inexplicable mess.// - DG Picture courtesy : @f-u-g-i-t-i-v-o
You used to say home was not a place, it was a feeling, and it was home how you felt with me, but where are you now, why haven't you come home? -DG
He saw the sea for the first time
He had been sitting beside the window, looking out, feeling the wind on his face. That's what he could do, feel, because he couldn't see, he was blind, since birth. He had heard stories, tales, his friend had told him about things so magnificent, and he somehow craved to see for once. His friend would tell him about the mountains, about the trees, the forests, birds and animals, natural wonders they were, but one thing intrigued him always, his friend talked about sea with such passion, it was difficult to miss the tone of her voice. It was like she got pretty much excited telling him about how the waves form and when you go there you can hear their sound, and feel so much at peace. He longed to see it for himself, he was scheduled for an eye operation which was to be his last chance to gain his sight. He was praying that the operation goes successfully. He had his operation the next day and he was sedated to such an extent that he was gonna be asleep for a few hours even after the operation. His friend was there and during this time she drove him to the sea, he was sleeping in the back seat though and she waited for him to wake up, she knew operation had been a success and she wanted him to open his eyes to the sea first time. He started stirring and she brought him out facing the sea and whispered in his ear to try and open his eyes, he opened them and what he saw left him mesmerised. He was totally in awe of the beauty of the sea, his eyes shone so bright and you could see tears forming in the gradually, bringing the shine in his eyes. He felt something he had never felt before, the sound of waves he had often heard before but this time it felt a little more alive, wind had often brushed across his face but never before did it feel so good. He hugged his friend, as he saw the colours merging in the sea, blue and green, as if by magic, and in that moment, after a long time he felt alive.
